This was a spontaneous collaboration with SpookiePookie, created for our father's (read: SpookiePookie and I are sisters) birthday.
Our father doesn't actually *like* sushi, but what the hey, that's not the point. The point is, we made sushi out of jelly candies, and we made it for him.
What more could you want from your offspring?

Base is homemade cake. Sashimi etc. is squished/mangled/reformed jelly citrus slices. Nori is rolled out black gummy something or other...I don't remember what. (It is *not* Scandinavian salty licorice. It was, after, meant to be eaten.) Rice is coconut shavings, chopsticks are chopsticks.
